Mr Sethi's approach to Orthopaedic Care
"It is a privilege to treat and care for patients and I realise the huge amount of trust that patients put in their doctors.
When I meet patients I take the time to understand their lifestyles, their needs and their demands. No two patients are the same and therefore each treatment plan needs to carefully formulated in partnership with the patient.
I take a patient centred approach and I ensure that my patients are fully involved in any decision making about their care; my role is to give my patients realistic expectations about different treatment options and then to deliver the treatment plan in the best way possible."
Whatever your goals following surgery, Mr Sethi will ensure that you have a personalised treatment plan.
In partnership with specialist physiotherapists, Mr Sethi and his team will ensure that you on target following your operation.
Mr Sethi's patients use a customised mobile application to guide them through their treatment and recovery from surgery.
Mr Sethi is also actively involved with research and teaching both nationally and internationally. He collects data on the outcome of his surgery and registers his patients on the National Ligament Registry dedicated to analysing and improving the outcome of Cruciate ligament reconstruction. For patients receiving other types of knee surgery (joint replacement) Mr Sethi uses validated scoring systems to help improve the outcome of his patients.
